Zwila Martinez

Zwila has a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language (Spanish) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Grambling State University, Grambling, La.  During her time in undergraduate school, she also studied at Autonomous University of Coahuila, Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico D.F.  She is currently in Graduate School at Xavier University, studying to receive a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction.

Zwila began her teaching experience in 2002, teaching Language Arts (6th graders) and Spanish (Pre-K3-8th grade) and also developing the Spanish curriculum for Edgelake Preparatory Academy.  Within the last 10 years, she taught Spanish at two historical, black Catholic schools in New Orleans, LA., St. Mary’s Academy and St. Augustine High School.  In April 2015, she began her business, The Lingo Factory LLC.  Zwila has serviced The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies, other non-profits, college students and individuals who possessed an interest in learning Spanish or English.  In June 2015, she opened a non-profit named Social Bridges Inc.  Zwila desires to help and reach children by providing them with a new aspect on global languages and diverse cultures.


C. Maxille Moultrie
Director of Operations

cmmax picMaxille Moultrie graduated from St. Augustine High School (New Orleans, LA) and attended The University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN). Mr. Moultrie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern University at New Orleans in Psychology with minors in English and Philosophy. After receiving the B.A. degree, he matriculated to Minnesota State University, Mankato where he completed the Master’s of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.  Mr. Moultrie has taken doctoral courses at Jackson State University (Jackson, MS) in the Executive PhD (EPHD) program.  Maxille is currently employed at Southern University at New Orleans at the Director of Recruitment and Admissions.  From August of 2013 – March of 2015, Maxille worked in the K-12 environment leading in Institutional Effectiveness, SACS Accreditation, Dean of Students, High School Counseling, and Teaching.  Prior to August of 2013, Maxille had been employed full time at Minnesota State University, Mankato in a plethora of roles since 2002 and in his final assignment at the institution was the Director for the Center for African American Affairs.

Mr. Moultrie’s success in life is directly attributable to an uncompromised belief system which greatly involves the support of his wife of 15 years and their young son Xavier, the boldness of audacity – discretion – enthusiasm, a daring to be unique, and character building hard work.  Mr. Moultrie’s commitment to God helps him greatly in sharing educational opportunities with many and his ability to help people regardless of the environment are intricate parts of who he is and he believes in sharing these values through servant-leadership.  C. Maxille Moultrie believes that, “In order for one to achieve success in great measure, one must be able to measure success greatly”.


Marcia Smith RN, BSN
Director of Health

IMG_05861Marcia Smith is a bachelors prepared skilled Registered Nurse. She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She has over 17 years of RN experience that includes a unique combination of medical/clinical and administrative in psychiatry, case management and program Director of an approved Vocational Nursing Program; along with direct patient care in Psychiatry, Medical-Surgical, Dialysis, Operating Room, SICU/PACU, Home Health, and Education (BSN/VN/CPR). Marcia has worked as a Registered Nurse in Louisiana, Florida, California and now Texas where she continues to add to her professional experience. Marcia wanted to share her knowledge with those individuals who desires to pursue a career in nursing; thus birthed New Beginnings Training Institute which currently teaches CPR and is in process of opening a certified nursing assistant training program.


David S. Burks
Director of Information Technology


David S. Burks is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. David has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and a M.S. in Management Information Systems. He also has a number of Industry Certifications like: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Healthcare IT Technician, Certified Advance Security Practitioner (CASP), Project+. David is currently a Professor at Delgado Community College. He specializes in courses like: JAVA Programming and C++ Programming. In the fall of 2014, he began his business, I Need a Tek LLC. David has been working with technology for many years.
